The SatNEx summer school 2009 has been concluded.

When and where

The SatNEx summer school 2009 takes place from 27th - 31st July, 2009 and is hosted by the Department of Computer Sciences of the University of Salzburg, Austria.

Programme

At this year's summer school, we are happy to offer you 8 distinct lectures in key areas of satellite communications. Please find details on the programme page.

Furthermore, we would like to invite you to three social events, where you can get in touch and exchange ideas with your fellow participants, PhD students and young researchers interested in the field of satellite communication systems.

Who should attend

The SatNEx Summer School is open to anyone interested in satellite communications and is likely to appeal in particular to postgraduate students, young researchers from academic and/or industrial organisations, and those wishing to refresh their skills in what is a rapidly evolving industry.

To fully appreciate the technical nature of the course, a first degree in networking or telecommunications engineering or a related subject is recommended. Although lectures will be offered that cover also elementary topics, it is important that attendees additionally possess a basic knowledge in the field of satellite communications.
